Your Dream Never Betrays You
One Monday morning last month at 7 am, I received a chat from a friend from Mongolia. She enthusiastically wrote about how she thinks that we should start doing podcasts for youth in Mongolia. I read that message again and again. There it was my long time dream which I buried so deep that I almost forgot myself about it. I immediately replied back to her and we created our first podcast that week. Then…
Then we got stuck. Our friends watched and liked it but the podcast wasn’t the best way to reach our audience. So what’s next? VLOG
Surely, we are not the best people nor the most confident people to do vlogs. However, we don’t have to struggle alone.
So we talked with Suwdaa Sherwood about what she had to say for the youth.
She is an incredibly inspiring vlogger who started her vlog a year ago. Her audience is mainly Mongolia women who benefit from her enthusiastic and empathetic personality and life advices.
“My goal is to help others”, Suwdaa simply states.
She currently has 67k followers who receive inspiration and support from her. But today we asked for advice for youth from her.
These are 4 advices that every teenager should hear today!
- Don’t seek approval from others
The real approval should come from our own heart. You will find true yourself there.
2. Learn to love yourself before falling in love
Find who you want to be. It’s not probably the best time to give everything for romantic love. You will find someone who will love you as you are.
3. Work with your unconscious mind.
Write down what and who you want to be. Tell yourself it often, so that your unconscious mind takes it as reality.
4. Bring your future alive today.
No one ever becomes successful without hard work. Let that sink in. Improve yourself every day. Your life is simply in your hands.
Her most important duty and happiness come from her beautiful family.
For the last words to our youth in Mongolia, she said “Your dream never betrays you, so don’t betray from it”.
After this short talk with her, all the doubts and fear we had about our vlog seemed small and all we have to do is to “be honest to our dreams and help others on the way”.
